Welcome!

We at Bright Young Chefs believe that cooking & baking with children can provide many beneficial learning experiences, here are a few.

  1. Fine Motor Skills: They get to develop their fine motor skill which is the control over the small movements of the hands and fingers, as well as the small muscles of the face and mouth (tongue) and feet. However, the focus is usually on developing the skills of the small muscles in the hands. Tasks such as holding a spoon, mixing, beating, shaking, pouring, rolling or cutting will help to develop your child’s fine motor skills.

Bright Young Cheftacular!

This is one of the best activities for children in Joburg. Tanya is outstanding in how she explains and conducts all the activities. My son loves going to BRIGHT YOUNG CHEFS and I love how he learns lots of things while exercising a variety of motor skills. The venue is superb and it is clearly evident that a lot of thought goes into the content of each class. It’s also a great place for kids to socialize and the classes can accommodate a range of age groups. Book a class - you’ll be happy you did.
